Boston Bound

Beat LA, beat LA, beat LA, beat LA! That is what the Boston Celtics chanted as they beat the Detroit Pistons to win the Eastern Conference Finals and a spot in the NBA finals! And...Nate and I are going to Game 1 in Boston with his aunt and uncle. It all started really yesterday and we leave tomorrow night! Danny and Michelle negotiated some tickets for us and Nate will finally be living his dream....lower bowl at a NBA finals game! Thank you Danny and Michelle! We are eternally indebted to you! Well, look for us on TV! I'll be the one with the painted face, standing next to the white guy with the painted chest! GO BOSTON!

Home Sweet Home

This year spring has not sprung, but rather summer. Recently I have been going over my past summers and realized that this is the first summer where I won't be spending every day at the beach. Tears seriously come to my eyes when I look out my window each day and see the gigantic mountains that have taken the place of my beautiful ocean. It is June and already blasted hot. What am I supposed to do? I only know how to function at 85 degrees with an ocean breeze. I miss the beach, I miss the hills, I miss the green, and I miss the perfection! This is a shot of one of my favorite beaches!
