American Idol Favorites

NBA Playoffs

NBA Playoffs...AKA...Goodbye husband and all my favorite shows. Nate is obsessed with the NBA playoffs and has vowed to watch every game and post game show with Kenney, Ernie, Charles and at the moment...Magic. I have to admit that I truly love Charles. He makes watching four quarters of basketball worth it. But isn't it sad that I know these men by name.
Go Jazz. Go Celtics.

Big Give

Ok, well ya know how the usual saying goes..."We're just trying to put food on the table?" Well, after reviewing our present financial situation, Nate shared..."Babe, I am not only trying to put food on the table, but I am trying to find a table where that food can be placed." It was a bitter sweet laughing matter, but it is so true. Nate and I are finally getting kicked out of good ol' grandpa's home and are quickly trying to find furniture to fill our apartment. For those that are wanting to make a donation, call your local poor newlywed charity (ps- I am the president). And all of you that have been watching Oprah's Big Give...this would be a great opportunity to share with those in need. HAHA!
And as the saying goes..."GIVE BIG OR GO HOME!"

The countdown begins...

10 days left and counting until I am a college graduate! Hal-le-lu-jah, Hal-le-lu-jah, Hal-le-lu-jah! How about one more time...Hallelujah! I can't believe that it is finally here. I am finishing up my student teaching and couldn't be happier. All good things must come to an end, right? Although I don't know how good it was?! After 2 years of schooling at BYU, 2 cohort teaching experiences, and 12 weeks of student teaching, I have decided one thing, and that is....teaching is not for me (at least for right now). Isn't it ironic that after four years of studying and one bachelor's degree later, I want nothing to do with what my education has given me and have no idea what to do with my life?! Oh well, I'll grow up and figure it out someday.
