Book 2

I have mixed feelings about this one. Did I love the story? Absolutely!! Did I love the inappropriate sexual comments and language? No!! You decide. But now I find myself really wanting to see the movie to see how different/alike it is from the book. Let's just say...I hope the movie is a little tamer than the book!! Please don't judge me!! HA.

Book 1

Love this book!! You should all read it!! Can't wait to start the sequel. It is a story of a girl and her trials, heart aches, and successes in the Arizona Territories...historical fiction. You will fall in love with her character because of the things she has to deal with and how she conquers each. I love Sarah Prine!! She is feisty, quick witted, and strong in every sense of the word!!

Update

My husband has officially graduated with a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the Marriott School of Management! Nate didn't end up walking because he thought the $60 for the cap and gown was a little steep, but went to the ceremony to hear the words of wisdom from the commencement speaker. Then we celebrated at a little pizza place right around the corner from our house with all his family. Thank you everyone for coming and thank you Terry and JeNee for the pizza!! Hopefully I'll be able to get a few pictures from JeNee to put on the blog....I'll keep you posted.

And as for me, I have decided to become a reader...the type of reader that always has a book she is working on! So if you have any great reads, let me know!! So far I have The Time Travelers Wife, Sarah's Quilt (Sequel to These Is My Words), The Memory Keeper's Daughter, and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. I'll let ya know how they all are! Work couldn't be better and life is great!

News

So I got back from San Diego and started my new job at Huntsman Gay Global Capital on Wednesday!! I couldn't be happier and I am so grateful to my cousin Tanner for the heads up. So far I have only worked three days, but it is a busy environment where things are always happening, which I love. I am an administrative assistant and have lots of different responsibilities. I'll keep you updated. Thank you Tanner!!

Nate is working again and has actually started a new company and couldn't be happier, which makes me happy because he is doing what he loves...wheeling and dealing!

Life is great and Nate and I are so grateful for all our many blessings. Sometimes life gets rough, but even in the middle of it all we were able to see how many times the Lord blessed our lives with safety and security in all aspects!

San Diego

I always hate leaving. It is definitely the best two weeks of the whole year. Playing games, the best food you'll ever eat, the beach, cousins, family, go-cart racing, the pool, etc...I have the best family in the entire world and I can't wait to see them all again. Thanks Mom and Dad!!
